Job Opportunity: Physician - Anesthesiology

We are seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist with Critical Care fellowship training to join our growing ICU and surgical team at a Level 2 Trauma Center in Jackson Michigan. Here high acuity care meets exceptional teamwork and endless opportunities for career advancement.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide 812 weeks per year of service in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) including home call coverage.
- Oversee a growing team of APPs managing complex post-operative patients.
- Deliver comprehensive anesthesia services during non-ICU weeks including general operating room coverage and obstetric anesthesia.
- Participate in clinical decision-making protocol development and care coordination.
- Engage in teaching and mentoring opportunities with residents and APPs.
- Utilize Epic EMR for seamless patient documentation.
- Join a collaborative and innovative department focused on clinical excellence.
- Must be available to start ASAP.
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible (must become Board Certified within 2 years) or Board Certified in Anesthesiology.
- Fellowship-trained in Critical Care Medicine.
- Current BLS ACLS and PALS certifications (or willing to obtain prior to start).
- Clean malpractice and license history.
- Desire to engage in a team-oriented environment dedicated to patient safety and quality improvement.
License and Certification Requirements:
- MI license (or willing to obtain).
- DEA and CSR/CDS certifications (must be obtained prior to start).
- Current COVID and flu vaccinations.
