Job Description
Job Opportunity: Urologist in Brattleboro Vermont
Join our dedicated team at a community-focused not-for-profit hospital in the picturesque town of Brattleboro Vermont. We are seeking a full-time board-certified or board-eligible General Urologist to provide high-quality care within a modern facility equipped with state-of-the-art surgical suites. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive urological care to both adult and pediatric patients.
- Deliver care in both outpatient clinic settings and inpatient hospital settings.
- Work collaboratively with an established urologist and a nurse practitioner.
- Perform surgical procedures in new state-of-the-art operating rooms.
- Conduct hospital consultations and manage urological emergencies in the emergency department.
- Participate in a light on-call rotation covering one hospital site.
- Utilize Cerner Community Works for electronic medical records and clinical documentation.
- Maintain a full-time schedule Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Manage an average of 1416 patients per day.
- Support departmental succession planning through active engagement and continuity of care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective diagnosis treatment and follow-up care.
- Open to considering candidates with lapsed board certification (if willing to recertify).
- New graduates are welcome to apply.
- Not open to long-distance commuters or those seeking alternative shift arrangements.
Qualifications:
- Board certified or board eligible in Urology.
- Completion of an accredited urology residency program in the United States or Canada.
- Clean malpractice history.
- Active Vermont License (must be obtained prior to start).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Certification exam passed by the American Board of Urology (ABU).
- DEA certification.
- BLS certification.
