Job Description

Job Title: Additional Learning Support Manager/SENDco

Location: Coventry

Contract Type: Full-Time Permanent

Hours per Week: 37 per week

Salary: 45710 to 48500 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and professional individual to join our team in a key learner support role. You will play an important part in helping the College run smoothly and efficiently contributing to the overall learner and staff experience.

The successful candidate will take the lead in managing and developing SEND practice at the College ensuring appropriate support for learners through managing a team of practitioners and specialists.

Whether supporting students staff systems or services youll bring a positive approach and a strong focus on collaboration teamwork and attention to detail. This is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic forward-thinking college where your skills and contribution are truly valued.

Requirements

Must-Have:

Possession of a degree or appropriate professional qualification and hold or

be working towards a recognised teaching qualification;

Managed ALS or SEND services in a previous education establishment

Experience of managing support for learners with EHCPs and a wide range of learning difficulties and disabilities

Experience of planning support for learners with a wide range of learning disabilities or differences.

Experience of working with key stakeholders such as Local Authorities to agree appropriate levels of funding for learner support.

Experience of claiming High Needs Funding and 19 ALS funding

Experience of arranging exam support for learners with additional learning needs
