Emergency Medicine Physician Opportunity in Athens Ohio

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide quality patient care in the Emergency Department.
- Participate in a physician-led organization.
- Manage a workload with an annual ED volume of 28000 visits.
- Work in a 22-bed Emergency Department with 24-hour physician coverage and 36 hours of APP coverage.
- Utilize EPIC for patient management and documentation.
- This is a full-time permanent position that may require residency within the immediate local area; relocation may be necessary.
- Experience is requiredinexperienced candidates and those needing visa sponsorship will not be accepted.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine -OR- Board Certified in Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience.
- Minimum of 12 months/2000 hours of experience in Emergency Medicine.
- Active Ohio medical license (or in process).
- Submission of a list of procedures you are experienced in performing.
- Proof of COVID vaccination status.
- Clean malpractice and licensing history.
- DEA certification (must be obtained prior to starting).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Ohio Medical License (in hand or in process).
- Board Certification in Emergency Medicine or relevant areas.
- DEA certification required.
- Proof of COVID vaccination.
- Clean malpractice history.
