Join a Growing Family Medicine Practice in Plymouth IN!
We have an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine/Internal Medicine physician to join a vibrant practice in Plymouth Indiana located near the University of Notre Dame. This facility offers a unique opportunity to work in a safety net clinic environment focusing primarily on outpatient care. Enjoy a collaborative atmosphere with two physicians and a nurse practitioner.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assess evaluate and treat patients in both hospital and medical office settings.
- Work collaboratively with supervising physicians to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Cater to a diverse patient demographic from pediatrics to geriatrics.
- Perform basic procedures and order diagnostic tests as needed.
- Opportunities for clinical teaching with St. Joseph Health System Family Medicine residents.
- Maintain adherence to the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately.
- Provide patient education on medical conditions and treatment methodologies.
- Reassess patient care plans and modify as necessary to achieve health goals.
- Participate in quality assurance and compliance audits.
- Demonstrate flexibility in handling schedule coverage and service excellence.
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Family Medicine (preferred) or Internal Medicine.
- Indiana medical license (or willingness to obtain).
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain).
- DEA certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience working with patients across all age groups from pediatrics to geriatrics.
- EPIC EMR knowledge is highly preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
- COVID vaccination.
- Eligibility for an Indiana medical license.
- Current certifications in BLS ACLS and DEA or willingness to obtain.
