Job Description
Join Our Team as a Family Medicine Physician in Brattleboro VT!
Brattleboro Family Medicine is seeking a dedicated full-time Staff MD to join our outpatient clinic team. Located in the heart of Brattleboro Vermont our facility offers a collaborative work environment with a focus on quality patient care. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient care in family medicine or internal medicine to adult and pediatric patients.
- Manage an average daily patient load of 14 in a clinic setting.
- Complete administrative duties including charting care coordination and quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in on-call phone rotation (1:11) to support patient care after hours.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in a supportive outpatient environment.
- Maintain certifications and licensure as required for clinical practice.
- Contribute to succession planning efforts for the practices long-term stability.
- Must be able to start by Fall 2025.
- Not open to candidates who commute more than 1 hour.
- Not open to candidates who plan to work this job in conjunction with another position.
Qualifications:
- Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine; Internal Medicine is accepted.
- Clean malpractice history.
- Commitment to obtaining required certifications.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a community-oriented practice.
Licensure and Certification Requirements:
- Active Vermont License (must be obtained prior to start).
- Board Certification in Family or Internal Medicine (or committed to obtaining before start).
- BLS certification.
- DEA registration.
