Pediatrix Medical Group seeks a full-time Pediatric Hospitalist to join our practice at The Children s Medical Center at Summerlin Hospital in Summerlin NV. Outstanding opportunity to join a well-established Pediatric Hospitalist practice.
Job Description:
- At least 1 year of current inpatient Hospitalist work experience is required. Must be able to provide at interview the last 12 months worth of case logs from a hospital setting.
- 2 Hospitalists inhouse during the day
- Varied shifts - combination of in-house and call from home.
- 34-bed pediatric floor covered by the 5-physician team of Pediatric Hospitalists
- Pediatric floor average daily census of 24
- 12-bed PICU covered by our affiliated practice of Pediatric Intensivists
- NICU and newborn nursery is managed by our affiliated Neonatology practice
- Full-fledged childrens hospital with well represented sub-specialties and a dedicated Pediatric ED
- Academic affiliation with a pediatric residency program with opportunities to mentor teach and train pediatric residents and medical students
- Robust quality improvement program and opportunities for clinical research if desired
- At least 1 year of current inpatient Hospitalist work experience is required. Must be able to provide at interview the last 12 months worth of case logs from a hospital setting.
- This is a full-time permanent position that may require residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required. To be discussed at interview.
- Open to experienced providers and recent graduate candidates - TRULY Board Eligible within 5 years of eligibility and working toward Board Certification
- Will not accept candidates with lapsed Board Certification who need to obtain it again
