Job Description:
As a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner you will play a critical role in delivering high-acuity evidence-based care to neonates in a multi-site collaborative NICU environment. You will:
- Deliver hands-on care in four Level-III NICUs across the Las Vegas suburbs:
- Henderson Hospital (32-bed NICU)
- Centennial Hills Hospital (28-bed NICU)
- Spring Valley Hospital (28-bed NICU)
- Summerlin Hospital (52-bed NICU)
- Manage care for approximately 1700 NICU admissions and over 10000 births annually
- Provide advanced neonatal interventions including:
- High-frequency ventilation (jet and oscillator)
- Inhaled nitric oxide (iNO) therapy
- Total body cooling for HIE
- Participate in the neonatal transport program and coordinate emergency stabilization and care
- Collaborate with 16 neonatologists and pediatric subspecialists to ensure comprehensive care
- Rotate through multiple sites and shifts contributing to 24/7 neonatal care coverage
- Engage in continuous quality improvement mentorship and ongoing professional development
- Support families through the NICU journey in a compassionate communicative manner
