Job Description



Sunrise Children s Hospital in Las Vegas NV is seeking a dedicated full-time Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatrician to join our rapidly growing state-of-the-art 30-bed pediatric emergency department alongside a team of Pediatric Emergency Medicine physicians offering a dynamic and supportive environment with robust subspecialty coverage and excellent resident and fellow teaching opportunities.

Job Description:

  • Provide high-quality pediatric emergency care in a busy 30-bed pediatric ER with volumes approaching 55000 patients annually
  • Collaborate closely with Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) physicians hospitalists and subspecialty teams
  • Participate in a supportive environment with child life specialists and pediatric social workers integrated into ER care
  • Contribute to teaching and mentorship of pediatric emergency medicine and family practice residents as well as Pediatric ER fellows
  • Work full-time covering twelve 12-hour shifts per month
  • Utilize full scribe coverage to enhance efficiency and patient care quality
  • Engage with affiliated Pediatric ICU CVICU and NICU teams to ensure seamless patient care transitions
  • Open to BC/BE candidates (fresh graduates and experienced providers welcome but recent inpatient experience required)
  • This is a permanent full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required.
