About the Role
We are seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee and optimize operations within a steel manufacturing environment. This role requires strong leadership skills technical expertise and a problem-solving mindset to maintain efficient production processes uphold safety and quality standards and drive continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to boost productivity resolve operational challenges and foster a positive team-focused workplace. This is a full-time onsite position based in Plymouth MI.

Key Responsibilities
Enforce workplace safety standards in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Lead and provide technical guidance to teams across steel manufacturing operations.
Address performance issues in coordination with plant management and HR as needed.
Conduct training on safety procedures workstation controls and equipment usage.
Promote a collaborative high-performance work environment.
Review daily operational reports and address manufacturing or maintenance concerns.
Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to maintain quality and efficiency.
Prepare and deliver reports to senior leadership for operational decision-making.
Ensure prompt medical care for any workplace injuries and document incidents appropriately.
Perform other duties as required to support production goals.
Must Haves
Post-secondary education technical diploma or equivalent hands-on experience in steel manufacturing or related industrial operations.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to lead teams effectively and coordinate across departments.
Proven ability to champion workplace health and safety initiatives in line with industry standards and regulations.
Proficiency with computer systems for reporting monitoring and operational tracking.
Consistent full-time onsite presence according to the posted schedule.
