Monitoring network performance availability and reliability using tools such as HP NNMi Thousand
Eyes Cisco Tetration (Secure Workload) and packet analyzers
Identifying and resolving performance
issues optimizing network configurations and ensuring quality of service (QOS)
Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution Identifying and resolving network related issues including connectivity problems latency issues and packet loss
This includes analyzing network logs packet captures and collaborating with other teams to troubleshoot complex issues
Incident & Change Management Individual must have excellent communication skills to handle incident bridge calls and communicate health of the network infrastructure related to the associated incident
They also must follow the established change management processes around the network infrastructure and enforce them with other teams questioning the process
They must assess the impact of the proposed changes obtain approvals and ensure change are coordinated and communicated to all concerned parties
- Bachelors degree Telecommunictions Management
Computer Science
Networking
3 years of related experience
Cisco Networking Fundamentals
HP Aruba Networking
Cisco Router & Switch Knowledge
Networking Protocols
Networking Monitoring Tools
