What You Will Be Doing:

If youre looking for meaningful work that improves lives and strengthens public health consider joining us as a Disease Intervention Specialist 1. This role is crucial in enhancing sexual health outcomes across Alaska. We offer comprehensive services to those exposed to or living with HIV and other STIs ensuring everyone has access to necessary care and support.

Main duties include:

  • Maintaining accurate and confidential surveillance records for STI and HIV prevention and care.
  • Partnering with healthcare providers and community organizations to improve access to testing treatment and ongoing support.
  • Conducting home visits for testing and support including transporting clients and engaging with unhoused individuals
