Diesel Mechanic
Job Overview: Our Greensboro client in Transportation is seeking to add a NEW 1st Shift Diesel Mechanic to their team. As a Diesel Mechanic you will play a key role in ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of vehicles and equipment. This position is responsible for promptly and efficiently diagnosing repairing and maintaining company vehicles trailers and related equipment. Success in this role requires strong technical expertise effective communication skills and a commitment to quality and safety. Collaboration with the Shop Manager and adherence to safety protocols are critical.

What you will be doing as a Diesel Mechanic
Perform timely repairs and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment following specifications and using OEM software tools and technologies.
Install replace rebuild or repair parts and equipment to meet industry standards and ensure customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with the Shop Manager to schedule repairs and maintenance for efficient workflow.
Authorize or assist in scheduling dealer shop and field repairs ensuring proper application of warranties.
Demonstrate proficiency with tools and equipment required for vehicle repairs.
Use computer-based diagnostic tools and complete related paperwork accurately and promptly.
Maintain a clean organized and safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
Diagnose failure modes using vehicle electronic systems and initiate or assign necessary repairs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
1 years of experience in truck and/or trailer mechanics.
1 years of experience in aluminum and steel welding.

2nd Shift Monday Friday 2:30 PM 12:00 Midnight
Every 5th Saturday 6:00 AM 12:00 PM
