Job Description
Job Title: Locum Physician - Hospitalist - Neuro

This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide Neurohospitalist coverage in a collaborative inpatient setting. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient neuro consult services with no code stroke response; neuro emergencies handled via teleneurology.
- Conduct consults and rounding for adult patients in the ED and ICU.
- See an average of 15 inpatient consults per day.
- Participate in follow-up care as needed.
- Work collaboratively with an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) available Monday through Friday.
- Utilize the EPIC documentation system for efficient record-keeping.
- Available for 24-hour call coverage as required.
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of an accredited residency in a related field.
- Board Certified in Hospitalist - Neuro.
- Strong clinical judgment and effective communication skills.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification - Required
- Active Virginia State License & DEA - Highly Preferred; willing to accept those needing to obtain
- ACLS and BLS certification - Required
