Job Summary
Locum - Physician - Interventional Cardiology
Join our dedicated team at a leading healthcare facility in West Burlington Iowa! We are seeking a Locum Interventional Cardiologist to provide exceptional care starting August 2025.
Facility Details:
Our facility offers a comprehensive range of medical services including inpatient outpatient and clinic settings featuring a total of 250 beds with an average daily census of 110-115. With an ICU unit of 10 beds and a trauma level designation of 3 we are committed to high-quality patient care in a supportive environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide interventional cardiology services including balloon angioplasties and coronary interventions.
- Conduct medical management of vascular disease and perform coronary angiograms.
- Participate in call rotations and provide inpatient care.
- Oversee an average of 12-15 outpatient clinic patients per day.
- Document patient care using Cerner EMR.
- Assist with various additional procedures including stress echoes and holters.
- Collaborate with other interventional cardiologists for shared patient care.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology.
- Active Iowa Medical License is highly preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology - Required
- Active IA License - Highly Preferred
- BLS and ACLS Certification - Required
