As a Licensed Practical Nurse heres a big-picture view of what youll do:

• Provide student wellness care to patients with illnesses injuries and chronic diseases under the supervision of an RN and clinical manager
• Take patient vitals do assessments document progress and report changes to RN supervisor
• Assist RN in carrying out patients plan of care.
• Educate students on their plan of care medication and home safety
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and follow up needs.

A few must-haves for Licensed Practical Nurses:

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program and active LPN license in Idaho or compact.
• Minimum of one year experience or ability to learn and foster self development under supervision.
• CPR certification
• Knowledge of state and federal nursing regulations
• Clinical proficiency in nursing strong communication skills and compassion
