Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures
- Evaluate patients medical histories and conduct pre-anesthesia assessments
- Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of anesthesia care provided
- Respond to any anesthesia-related emergencies swiftly and effectively
- Educate patients about anesthesia procedures and address their concerns
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in anesthesia techniques
- Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities
Requirements
- Associates degree in Nursing or a related field
- Current certification as a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Experience in administering anesthesia in a clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia equipment and monitoring techniques
- Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care
Flexible Schedule: 8 10 or 12-hour shifts 3-4 days per week
No call or weekend shifts
Cases: Bread and butter OB endo general and spine
8 ORs
Supervision: 1:4
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
