This contract position requires an on-site presence and offers an exceptional opportunity to work within the dynamic field of anesthesiology in a staffing and recruiting environment.

As a Locum CRNA you will play a vital role in providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients in various healthcare settings. This position not only allows you to apply your clinical expertise but also to collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals committed to delivering optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical and diagnostic procedures
  • Monitor patients vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels accordingly
  • Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare teams to ensure patient safety
  • Provide pre-anesthesia assessments and post-anesthesia care
  • Evaluate patients medical history and determine anesthesia plans
  • Educate patients about anesthesia procedures and address their concerns
  • Maintain accurate records of anesthesia care and patient responses
  • Stay current with best practices and advancements in anesthesia techniques

Requirements

  • Associates degree in Nursing or a related field
  • Current licensure as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
  • Experience in administering anesthesia in various surgical settings
  • Strong knowledge of anesthesia pharmacology and techniques
  • Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and safety

Schedule: 7a-3p

No call requirement

5 ORs 2 endoscopy suites 1 urology suite

Cases: Bread and butter general surgery urology ENT OB ortho ophthalmology pediatric dental

Will handle epidurals for OB

Must be comfortable working independently

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
