Benefits eligible school-year position. Licensed Speech and Language Pathologist to provide evaluation services direct intervention and consultation services for students in grades PreK -3. Understanding of Maine Special Education Law regarding Speech/Language Services is required. Experience in the completion of Speech Language Impairment Eligibility form. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: * Provision of case management services to students identified under Speech/Language Impairment * Writing IEPs given student needs based on evaluation data * Providing direct services to students * Providing consultation services for students to IEP team members including special education and regular education teachers * Participation on District-Wide Speech PLC team * Participation on building-based PLC teams including grade-level teams special education teams RtI teams as needed * Direct consultation with outside Speech Therapy agencies * Support of Students using AAC devices* Billing MaineCare for speech sessions as required
