The Field Project Manager oversees on-site operations for residential multi-unit construction projects focusing on the delivery and installation of kitchen cabinets vanities and countertops. This is a field-based role with approximately 95% of time spent traveling to active construction job sites throughout the greater South Florida area. The Field Project Manager ensures project milestones are met budgets are maintained and installations pass all required inspections. Acting as a liaison between subcontractors and internal teams this role provides leadership daily reporting and ensures all site activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day construction site activities related to installation of cabinets vanities and countertops.
Coordinate with production logistics and site superintendents to maintain installation schedules.
Verify accuracy of all material deliveries and ensure proper handling storage and protection of materials on-site.
Supervise subcontractors to ensure work is completed per shop drawings specifications building codes and safety standards.
Lead daily site safety meetings and enforce OSHA/PPE compliance.
Conduct walkthroughs with subcontractors and general contractors to validate work prior to approval.
Monitor labor materials and equipment usage to maximize efficiency and control costs.
Safeguard tools and rental equipment (e.g. forklifts bobcats) and maintain proper inventory.
Document and report progress safety incidents and project milestones accurately and on time.
Manage punch list items and ensure timely closeout with GC and Owners.
Participate in subcontractor and progress meetings to communicate site updates and resolve issues.
Qualifications
High School Diploma required; Associates or Technical Degree in Construction Management preferred.
Valid state-issued Drivers License.
2 years of experience in construction preferably multi-unit or large-scale residential projects.
Proven experience supervising subcontractors or trade crews on active construction sites.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints shop drawings and construction documents.
Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
Strong organizational planning and decision-making skills with a focus on safety and quality.
High energy urgency and self-motivation with the ability to work independently in the field.
Work Environment
95% of time spent traveling to active construction job sites throughout the greater South Florida area.
Position is field-based with occasional office reporting.
Physical Demands
Regular speaking and hearing required.
Frequent standing walking lifting and handling of materials.
Ability to lift/move up to 3540 lbs as needed.
Requires full range of vision for construction site oversight.
Schedule
Full-time MondayFriday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (with flexibility based on site needs).
