Maintain and continuously improve our ISO 45001 Health & Safety document management system.
Ensure compliance with all relevant occupational health and safety laws regulations and standards.
Conduct risk assessments incident investigations and internal audits.
Coordinate and facilitate safety training for staff at all levels.
Manage PPE requirements and ensure correct usage across the facility.
Monitor and report on health and safety performance to senior management.
Develop and update H&S policies procedures and safe work practices.
Drive a proactive safety culture throughout the organisation.
Liaise with external auditors inspectors and regulatory bodies.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to influence and drive change in safety culture.
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Minimum Requirements:
SAIOSH registration (essential).
Proven experience in a processing or production-based environment (non-negotiable).
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with ISO 45001 systems.
Excellent understanding of South African occupational health and safety legislation.
Strong document control organisational and auditing skills.
SACPCMP registration (advantageous but not essential).
Proficiency in MS Office and health & safety management systems.
