Job Description
Your contribution to something big:
- Leading technical purchasing activities for new parts and components;
- Driving the purchasing Time-To-Market (TTM) process in heat pump development projects;
- Conducting and leading technical discussions with suppliers and engineering teams;
- Organizing and performing supplier visits;
- Monitoring and reporting on purchasing project achievements and progress;
- Initiating coordinating and advancing preventative quality;
- Focus on target costing by identifying cost improvement opportunities with suppliers and engineers supporting cost estimation and tracking;
- Preparing supplier awarding for new parts ensuring alignment with project schedules in respect to part deliveries;
- Participating in innovation feasibility projects.
Qualifications :
What distinguishes you:
Education:
- Academic background in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering (Additional commercial/business qualifications are valued).
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing or engineering roles preferably within commercial and project purchasing areas;
- Experience or knowledge in heat pump technology is a plus.
Languages:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Working Style and Personality:
- Structured and analytical approach to work with strong problem-solving skills;
- Proactive results-driven and able to take ownership of projects;
- Excellent communication interpersonal and leadership abilities;
- Comfortable working in cross-functional and international teams;
- Willingness to travel.
