Job Description
- Work with R&D to understand project scope sourcing requirements and implement advanced purchasing activities.
- Good command of product knowledge and understanding of existing supply pool competences
- Good understanding of global procurement initiatives and key category strategy.
- Provide product related cost information and calculation.
- Work with global procurement and category management team to select suitable suppliers for new projects.
- Supplier engagement and management to realize successful prototype.
- Co-work with engineering quality and logistic department within project group to ensure transparent information exchange.
- Ensure full compliance of all sourcing and procurement activities.
Bachelors degree or above in mechanical engineering or equivalent
Demonstrated strong sourcing and advanced procurement knowledge in a manufacturing environment preferably from high mix low volume industry background with at least 5 years of experience in the relevant areas.
Proven strong project management problem solving risk management and stakeholder management skills.
Familiar with procurement process supplier evaluation & good quality system knowledge.
Good people communication and task prioritization coordination skills
Experience in SAP system.
Good written and spoken English.
Self-motivating and strong ownership with can-do attitude
Quick-learner and team-player
Strong presentation skills
