The Development Design & Construction (DD&C) team brings our strategic vision to life by shaping building and delivering our assets. From early-stage planning and design through to construction and handover the team creates high-quality sustainable and innovative spaces that enhance the experience for our customers retailers and communities. DD&C ensures that our centres continue to evolve stay relevant and drive long-term value for the business.

Day-to-day you will be responsible for:

Development Executives guide DD&C projects across our portfolio. This means securing regulatory and co-owner approvals managing budgets and SAPaligned initiatives and translating strategic masterplans into delivered valueensuring each project drives asset growth and aligns with our long-term strategy.

• Lead projects end-to-end from briefing through to hand-over.
• Secure approvals & funding by drafting enterprise briefs and obtaining sign-off from Asset Management Group Ops partners and regulators.
• Manage SAP roll-outs by implementing all SAP changes for DD&C ensuring correct setup and data.
• Shape asset plans; feed into feasibility studies disposals acquisitions and long-term masterplans.
• Coordinate capital transfers such as handling leasing changes renewals and downsizes for each asset
• Plan & prioritise balanced development and operational capital projects across multiple assets.
• Collaborate regularly to align scope budget and timing with Finance Legal Planning Asset Teams and co-owners.
• Lead forums: run DCMs PCGs and project check-ins; resolve day-to-day queries and escalate as needed.
• You influence planning controls and local frameworks by managing council and state relationships.

• You use strategic tactics like market and portfolio insights to shape smart development recommendations and spot new ideas.
• You anticipate riskswhether regulatory competitive or budgetaryand propose practical fixes.
• Using your commercial awareness you balance cost time and quality to deliver the best outcome for the business.
