We are seeking a driven leader and target-oriented professional for the role of Journal Manager Endocrinology. Reporting to the Portfolio Manager you will be instrumental in setting and implementing growth strategies to ensure the long-term success of the journal. You will lead your team to achieve ambitious targets ensuring high performance effective development and strong mentorship.
As a team leader you will manage train and mentor a group of specialists providing them with the necessary guidance and support to achieve their goals. You will foster a high-performance culture ensuring that team members develop their skills meet KPIs and contribute effectively to the journals success.
Additionally your role involves engaging with Chief Editors and editorial boards nurturing relationships within the research community and ensuring journal visibility. You will oversee journal budgets driving financial returns and capacity management while ensuring alignment with internal departments for scalable operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to position the journal as a leader within its discipline and secure long-term success.
- Oversee support and guide a team of specialists by providing mentorship training and regular feedback. Cultivate an environment of high performance responsibility and motivation across the team.
- Take ownership of achieving targets and key performance indicators at the Specialty Section Journal and overall team levels.
- Champion effective management and continuous development of team members to ensure exceptional results.
- Act as the primary liaison for Chief Editors and editorial boards ensuring their active involvement and strong outcomes.
- Build and nurture relationships within the research community to raise the journals profile and visibility.
- Leverage data insights to optimize financial performance and manage capacity efficiently.
- Work closely with internal departments to align strategies streamline operations and drive ongoing improvements for scalability.
