Company:
The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Manager to support the Program Integration Office (PIO) in El Segundo CA.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages Integrated Product Team (IPT) members to deliver flight hardware
Develops and executes integrated departmental plans policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies goals objectives
Acquires resources for department activities provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes. Establishes Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) program goals and establishes a PMBP improvement plan
Manages develops and motivates employees and first-level managers
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher
Technical project/program management experience
Experience working with multiple internal and external stakeholders (i.e. business partner customer Finance suppliers) in planning and executing projects
Experience building stakeholder and customer relationships
Experience with financial reporting
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
10 years of experience working with government customers
Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance
Strong experience in managing relationships with business leaders leading complex portfolio of engagements enabling leaders to make data-driven decisions
Experience building positive relationships collaborating effectively and communicating clearly
Experience with team building developing and motivating employees
Work Location:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Travel:
Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.
