We are seeking a highly experienced Data Centre Infrastructure Project Manager to lead and manage mission-critical infrastructure projects within our data centre environments. This includes overseeing hardware installations network and power upgrades cloud integrations and ensuring all implementations meet security compliance and performance standards. The ideal candidate is technically sound an excellent communicator and capable of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Lead end-to-end management of data centre infrastructure projects from initiation through closure.
Define and document project scope objectives timelines budgets and deliverables.
Oversee installation and integration of servers storage systems cabling power cooling and network infrastructure.
Manage data centre expansions physical/virtual migrations and technology upgrades.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and track costs for financial accountability.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams third-party vendors and clients.
Translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
Ensure compliance with data centre security disaster recovery and regulatory standards.
Apply best practices to enhance uptime performance and system scalability.
Monitor KPIs manage risks and provide regular project reports to leadership.
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years in infrastructure or data centre project management.
Certified in ITIL Foundation.
Proficient in Microsoft Project and project tracking tools.
Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies including Agile Scrum and Waterfall.
Data Centre Infrastructure: Strong knowledge of power cooling systems cabling and rack management.
IT Systems: Experience with servers SAN/NAS storage virtualization and networking.
Cloud Technologies: Exposure to AWS Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (hybrid environments).
Disaster Recovery & BCP: Proven experience in planning and implementing recovery solutions.
Excellent organizational leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
