Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Manager to join our client in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR operations within the company including recruitment employee relations performance management training and development and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
2. Manage the recruitment and selection process including job posting screening interviewing and onboarding new employees
3. Provide guidance and support to all employees on HR-related matters including performance issues conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
4. Oversee the performance management process including goal setting performance evaluations and feedback sessions
5. Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
6. Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records including employee files attendance and leave records
8. Manage the HR budget and resources effectively
9. Stay up-to-date on HR trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive in the market
Qualifications:
1. Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field
2. At least 5 years of experience in HR management roles
3. Strong knowledge of South African labor laws and regulations
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. Proven ability to solve complex HR issues and drive positive change within an organization
6. Proficient in HR software and systems
7. Certification in HR-related disciplines (e.g. HR management labor relations) is a plus
