Job Description
Lead DevOps initiatives in SAP Warehouse Management systems!
Advanced role requiring German language skills
24/7 DevOps support environment
Work with international SAP logistics processes
POSITION: Contract: 01 September 2025 31 December 2028
EXPERIENCE: 4-6 years related experience
COMMENCEMENT: 01 September 2025
LOCATION: Hybrid: Midrand/Menlyn/Home Office rotation
TEAM: Warehouse Management
Qualifications/Experience
- Degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years IT work experience
- Minimum 2 years experience in an SAP Operations environment
- Minimum 2 years experience in an SAP Logistics Modules (WM & EWM)
Essential Skills Requirements
- German Language able to read/write and speak German Essential
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with Business Users
- Incident Management (IM)
- Change Management (CM)
- Problem Management (PM)
- IT Operations Process Controls
Advantageous Skills Requirements
- Good SAP System knowledge to support SAP Logistical Processes: SAP WM & EWM process knowledge
- ITIL process knowledge and work experience (ITIL certification - advantageous)
Role Requirements
- Work in DevOps team (Support 24/7 and Shift support when needed)
- Close coordination with developers to make go lives safe and successful
- Following up on incident tickets to make long term improvement
- Actively making suggestions to reduce the number of problem tickets
- Proactive improvements in daily IT operations
