Our client in the service sector is seeking an experienced and dedicated Class One Chef to join their team.

Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with established recipes portion sizes and presentation standards.
- Assist in planning daily menus and specials ensuring variety and alignment with guest or client expectations.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all food preparation and service areas adhering to food safety standards.
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and kitchen supplies and report shortages or replenishment needs.
- Ensure all food items are stored properly and used within their shelf life to minimize waste.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service during peak periods.
- Inspect and maintain kitchen equipment reporting any faults or maintenance needs.
- Support junior kitchen staff through guidance supervision and on-the-job training.
- Adhere to all company and regulatory health and safety requirements in food handling and kitchen operations.
- Participate in kitchen cleaning schedules and ensure compliance with sanitization procedures.

Qualifications:
- Certified Class One Cook/Chef qualification from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 3 5 years of experience working in a professional kitchen.
- Food Safety and Hygiene Certification (required).
- Experience in a hotel lodge restaurant or catering environment is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
