About the role
HealthFitness is looking for part-time Group Class Instructor to join the fitnessteam at our client site located in Durham NC.
In this position you will provide fun effective and safe group exercise to members participating in our Cycling program and/or general group exercise programs - teaching classes such as circuit strength HIIT dance step.You will be teaching a minimum of 1 class per week.
Minimum Requirements
- Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE AFAA/NASM ACSM NETA NCCPT or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
- Current HealthFitness approved Cycling certification required to instruct Cycling.
- Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required.
- 2 years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
