A Day in the Life
As Medtronic Team of Strategic Account Acceleration Strategic Accounts Manager you are responsible for establishing trusted partnerships with our most important customers by leveraging Medtronics unparalleled breadth and scale.
This position offers autonomy in drafting value-added services and solutions that match customers needs
and innovation in building MEDTRONIC business future to create value deliver accelerated growth and improve customer experience
It also offers senior exposure both internally with Medtronics top leadership as well as externally with the C-Suite of strategic accounts.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Deeply understand the customers business vision priorities key initiatives metrics/KPIs and the outcomes they seek. Proactively analyze gain and bring actionable insights that identify opportunities to elevate customer performance improve delivery of care alleviate pain restore health extend life
- Maintain complete and accurate account plans for targeted strategic accounts as well as gather extensive discovery analysis of the account including and not restricted to stakeholders mapping historical Medtronic activities competition landscape total addressable market therapy gap and market share analysis
- Understand the customers decision process elevate engagement with relevant C-suite executives and strengthen enterprise relationships.
- Build and lead high performance account teams and work in strong collaboration with local commercial leads Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) and other Medtronic stakeholders to lead change and maximize value creation in strategic accounts
- Align on opportunities to create value accelerate and sustain growth with customer and -develop joint account business plans strategies and tactics to realize mutual goals
- Develop relevant solutions enabling customer success. Quantify & communicate value. Define commercial model negotiate agreement and pricing models and secure commitment
- Execute account plans. Establish a review cadence and monitor joint scorecard. Develop a long-term strategic roadmap to expand mutual business. Continue to learn adjust and improve
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in business (preferably) science medicine or equivalent
- 7 years business management experience in senior and complex roles
- Previous experience working in a regulated industry in Medical Device Healthcare or Pharma in a multinational environment with a significant matrix component
- Demonstrated ability to operate from idea generation strategy development through detailed implementation and results delivery
- Demonstrable program management skills: planning & coordinating communicating & influencing relationship building achieving milestones resolving issues and managing risks
- Experience in change management
- Demonstrated ability to engage other business functions teams etc. to work towards goals and meet objectives
