Our client is a leading manufacturing company who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.
Implement business plans and strategies
Plan and execute promotional technical advisory and commercial development activities on a weekly monthly and quarterly basis aligned with the company s approved business strategy.
Develop thorough expertise in the company s products their applications supplier networks competitors and the overall market landscape to deliver insightful and effective customer consultations.
Recommend sales and customer service policies including pricing structures payment terms supply conditions and discount programs for your designated customer segment. These recommendations should be submitted to the Business Manager and CEO for approval and executed accordingly.
Execute sales and marketing activities in alignment with the company s procedures and strategic plans. This includes: researching potential clients within the assigned sector initiating contact developing project opportunities preparing quotations based on the standard price list negotiating pricing and supply/payment terms (specifically for Indent orders shipped directly from the manufacturer) finalizing orders and coordinating with relevant departments (Accounting Supply Chain) to process contracts and manage logistics. Maintain oversight of order progress and ensure customer support is provided in line with company policies.
Manage customer complaints related to delivery or product quality by collaborating with relevant departments to resolve issues promptly and implement both corrective actions and preventive measures.
Oversee the organization and maintenance of all sales and technical documentation including sales tools (e.g. brochures kits presentations) product specifications (TDS MSDS) samples and all records associated with projects clients and suppliers under your responsibility.
Prepare and submit comprehensive business and operational reports such as Market Surveys Technical Bulletins Rolling Forecasts Sales Forecasts Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Business Reviews Product Management Reviews Weekly Activity Reports and Weekly Plans in compliance with internal procedures. These reports are presented to the Business Manager CEO and relevant suppliers for review and decision-making. Business and market development.
Inventory and receivables management
Monitor and manage inventory preparing and submitting monthly or ad-hoc stock and replenishment forecasts for approval ensuring timely and stable product availability for customers. Take proactive measures to prevent slow-moving stock over-aged inventory (beyond 50% of shelf life) or expired goods. Collaborate with other sales teams to address inventory challenges when necessary.
Manage and recover outstanding receivables in line with the company s sales policies and credit control procedures to maintain healthy cash flow and minimize financial risk.
Business and market development
Consistently engage in customer care initiatives to sustain and enhance existing business relationships while identifying and nurturing opportunities for new project development.
Proactively identify and develop relationships with new and prospective clients within the assigned sector by introducing products offering technical support and presenting innovative ideas and solutions.
Coordinate and host visits from suppliers customers and business partners at the company ensuring meeting agendas and materials are prepared in line with company protocols. Support the planning and execution of supplier-led technical seminars.
Conduct regular market research and industry analysis through structured monthly quarterly and annual reporting providing strategic insights to assist the Business Manager in defining market direction product positioning and aligning offerings with customer demands.
Other tasks
Submit reports and obtain necessary approvals from the Business Manager for key business decisions.
Establish and maintain strong collaborative relationships with government bodies media outlets academic institutions and research organizations to promote and elevate the company s reputation and brand image.
Carry out other duties as reasonably assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Holds a Bachelor s or Master s degree in Pharmacy Food Science Pharmaceutical Chemistry Organic Chemistry or related fields.
At least 2 to 3 years in a comparable role within pharmaceutical raw materials herbal semi-finished products research and development or quality control with an inclination toward sales. Candidate suitability will be evaluated.
Must have a TOEIC score of 700 or an IELTS score of 6.5 or higher.
