Our client is a leading banking company who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.
Strategic Risk Transformation Roadmap:
Design and lead the execution of a long-term transformation plan for risk management ensuring alignment with the bank s overall strategy.
Define critical milestones and initiatives aimed at enhancing risk detection evaluation and mitigation efforts.
Actively promote a risk-conscious culture and embed governance frameworks throughout all business units.
Technology Enablement & Process Modernization:
Direct the implementation and seamless integration of next-gen risk technology platforms.
Lead the redesign and optimization of risk management processes to leverage technology and enhance efficiency.
Ensure new systems and processes align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Team Leadership & Talent Development:
Recruit coach and develop a high-performing transformation team focused on risk innovation.
Launch and maintain internal programs that upskill talent and strengthen domain expertise in risk and transformation.
Encourage a knowledge-sharing culture that supports adaptability and forward-thinking.
Operational Oversight & Strategic Execution:
Take charge of daily operations for the Risk Transformation department.
Oversee budgeting forecasting and KPI tracking for all transformation initiatives.
Provide transparent reporting to senior executives and regulatory bodies on key risk projects.
Collaborate with leadership boards and respond to assigned tasks aligned with strategic transformation goals.
Master s degree in Business Administration Finance Risk Management or a related field (MBA preferred).
15 years in the financial industry including 5 years leading risk teams or strategic transformation programs.
Proven success managing large-scale cross-functional change initiatives.
Expertise in risk regulations such as Basel III FRTB and experience with risk technologies (e.g. risk platforms stress test tools).
Recognized certifications (e.g. FRM CGRP) are advantageous.
Strong leadership presence with excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.
Fluent in English with Vietnamese proficiency being a bonus.
High ethical standards strong critical thinking and organizational leadership.
Skilled in Microsoft Office and familiar with modern risk/data analytics tools.
Resilient and self-motivated capable of driving initiatives in high-pressure environments.
