Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Shipping Clerk to join our this role you will be responsible for managing shipping operations ensuring accuracy in documentation coordinating with logistics partners and tracking shipments to guarantee on-time delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric or National Senior Certificate required.
- Trustworthy reliable and detail-oriented.
- 2-3 years of experience in a shipping or logistics role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of shipping procedures and documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook) and shipping software for data entry and tracking.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well within a team-oriented environment.
- Basic math skills for shipping cost and quantity calculations.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new shipping processes and technologies.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected shipping challenges.
- Familiarity with international shipping regulations is an advantage but not required.
