SHIPPING CLERK
WHAT YOULL BE DOING Under the supervision of the Logistics Supervisor the Shipping Clerk ensures the accurate preparation packaging and documentation of outgoing shipments. The Shipping Clerk may also be called upon to assist the manager in other areas of the warehouse department.

- Experience with UPS Worldwide or equivalent shipping platforms

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary.
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments in accordance with company standards and carrier requirements.
- Verify shipment contents against shipping documents (e.g. invoices packing lists) to ensure accuracy.
- Generate and print shipping labels and related documentation using shipping software.
- Prepare data and documentation for batch shipping with FedEx and UPS systems.
- Record and maintain shipping data and logs for all outgoing orders.
- Communicate with the Logistics Manager to confirm that all shipments are ready on time for scheduled pickups.
- Inspect outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
- Assist with unpacking sorting and inspecting incoming materials in the Receiving department.
- Support the Hand Work department with manual assembly packaging labeling or other tasks as required.
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work area

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: - Requires education generally equivalent to a high school diploma and
- One to three years of related experience.
- Previous shipping experience is desired.
TOOLS AND TECHNOLOGY: - Forklift certification is a plus.
