Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations and supervise shopfloor staff to meet output targets.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust workflow as needed to ensure on-time delivery.
- Ensure adherence to quality control standards and safety regulations.
- Train mentor and evaluate production staff for performance and development.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure equipment is operating optimally.
- Maintain production documentation and generate shift performance reports.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Requirements
- Matric certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent.
- Diploma or relevant qualification in Production/Operations Management or Engineering.
- Proven experience (35 years) in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of production workflows quality standards and health and safety protocols.
- Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Computer literate with experience in production reporting tools or ERP systems.
