A client in the analytics and intelligence space is seeking an experienced and technically proficient Control Room Manager (NOC Manager) to lead their Tier 1 Operations Team in a high-availability Operations Center environment. This role is pivotal in maintaining 24/7 system up-time managing incident response and driving continuous performance improvements across all shifts. The ideal candidate is both a hands-on leader and strategic thinker capable of overseeing shift operations resolving escalations (Tier 2) and enforcing operational best practices.
Required Qualifications:- 4 years experience in control room IT operations or Security Operations Center (SOC).
- 12 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Strong knowledge of system monitoring escalation workflows and incident management.
- Technical understanding of networks servers firewalls and access control.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g. Zabbix PRTG and SolarWinds).
- Strong documentation reporting and analytical skills.
Preferred Certifications:- Zabbix Certified Specialist (or equivalent)
- CompTIA A Network or similar technical certifications
- Security Operations or Control Room Certification (e.g. PSiRA)
Technical Skills:- Proficient with enterprise monitoring tools and system dashboards
- Strong troubleshooting of LAN/WAN VPN and remote access issues
- Familiarity with CCTV/NVR systems and integrations
- Sound understanding of uptime monitoring data integrity and incident protocols
- Experience with risk assessments and security investigations
