Position Overview:
This role is pivotal in the support of the sales admin and operations support functions and related processes in the Stockist to service customers in a manner which will always project a positive and professional image of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in sales in servicing customers develop customer relationships and maintain related admin.
Develop product and technical knowledge to assist and improve internal and external customer experience.
Supply customers with written quotation where required and expedite same to turn to orders.
Check order product and price information accuracy and ensure correct processing of customer orders to prevent sales and customer errors related credit notes or delays in delivery or payment collection.
Manage the back-order status of customer orders and liaise with buyers in order to deliver complete orders fast.
Communicate regularly with customers in respect of their requirements and the status of their back orders.
Share new or product enhancement information that become available to upsell more products to customers.
Participate in stock takes and work overtime required to start early and complete stock takes into the weekend.
Follow relevant SOPs and common practices applicable to the various functions where and when assisting.
Report any unauthorized fraudulent theft collusive suspicious unsafe or unproductive conduct or attempts.
Maintain housekeeping security and safety in accordance with the company standards.
Identify and propose improvement initiatives to improvement operations customer service and sales where possible.
Embrace and maintain the continuous improvement program of Wispeco (20 Keys).
Work flexitime Saturdays overtime or shifts as and when required.
Form an active part of the team and remain flexible to perform any other function as and when necessary to serve as a back-up enhance productivity and customer service levels and as part of self-development.
Preferred Requirements:
Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent. A relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous. Computer literate with good excel skills. Well versed in English both written and verbally. Good collaboration and communication skills. Knowledge of Syspro and/or Wispeco aluminium product range will be advantageous.
