Job Description
Our client is a prominent real estate developer with a diverse portfolio of luxury resort and high-end projects across Vietnam.
They are seeking a meticulous and results-oriented Construction Project Director to lead the delivery of high-value large-scale construction projects that promote eco-friendly living and sustainability practices. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing projects with incredibly high contract values and footprints of several hectares - from initial planning through to final handover.
This individual should be comfortable traveling around Northern Vietnam on an as-needed basis.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead all phases of project development including planning budgeting scheduling design coordination procurement construction quality control and final delivery.
- Oversee contractors consultants and internal teams to ensure high-quality execution that meets time cost and design objectives.
- Manage end-to-end project budgets in the hundreds of millions USD or large-scale developments with full accountability for P&L performance.
- Ensure projects meet all regulatory environmental safety and compliance requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for executive leadership investors and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee risk management strategies change control processes and dispute resolution ensuring timely mitigation and stakeholder alignment.
- Drive value engineering procurement strategy and contract negotiations to optimize costs without compromising on design integrity.
- Implement best practices in construction management site logistics sequencing and subcontractor oversight.
- Ensure construction is executed to luxury standards coordinating closely with interior designers architects and specialty contractors.
REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 10 years of experience managing high-value construction projects in leadership roles.
- Extensive experience delivering luxury resort or high-end residential/commercial developments.
- Strong background in project management methodologies contract administration construction sequencing and site supervision.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
- Deep understanding of high-end construction materials finishes and luxury design standards.
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management Architecture or a related field.
