The Program Management Planner is responsible for providing comprehensive Planning and Performance Management support to districts within Region 3. The Program Management team provides budget planning grant expenditure revenue and procurement support to the Academic Services Department and Region 3 School Districts. The PPM Planner will be highly motivated and organized. This position requires the ability to critically plan and think long-term. The PPM Planner will provide district and Region 3 leadership/management with analytical data used for decision making purposes. The PPM Planner will also develop project/initiative execution plans for both district initiatives and internal projects/initiatives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor Degree or higher
- Educational degree or experience in project management or business
- Five or more years of experience in a business-focused position that is comprised of experience in project management leadership and finance
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Successfully design project management plans for initiative/projects for Region 3 and Region 3 school districts.
- Implement process designs to progress monitor project management plans for Region 3 and Region 3 school districts.
- A strong understanding of theoretical knowledge and management skills.
- The ability to prioritize projects through the cycle of planning implementation review and continuation.
- Understanding and proficient use of multiple software platforms including but not limited to; Microsoft Office Google Monday and Canva.
- Understanding of basic financial and accounting procedures
- The ability to communicate and present clearly effectively and succinctly.
- Collaborate with Region 3 staff and Region 3 school district leaders to implement performance planning for projects/initiatives.
- Ability to design deliver and facilitate high-quality professional development for adult audiences both in person and virtually.
- Ability to connect with diverse audiences and understand complex and unique circumstances in order to support growth among individuals and across regions/districts.
- Ability to coach model and provide feedback on performance.
- Highly organized; ability to manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail with an ability to produce high quality work in diverse environment.
