Job Description

Crafts and curates written content that brings the Fairmont Hanoi brand to life across all platforms. This role is responsible for developing emotionally resonant brand-aligned storytelling in both English and Vietnamese for social media website press materials and campaigns. The position plays a key role in maintaining the hotels tone of voice and ensuring consistency creativity and clarity in all communication touchpoints supporting the hotels positioning in the luxury hospitality and lifestyle space.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and write compelling brand-aligned content in both English and Vietnamese for social media website email campaigns press releases brochures POSM and other marketing materials.
  • Ensure consistency in tone of voice storytelling and messaging across all guest-facing and promotional content.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing & Communications and the MarCom team to translate campaign concepts into editorial narratives that resonate with target audiences.
  • Write scripts and storylines for short-form videos social reels and branded video content (e.g. TVCs) ensuring emotional resonance and alignment with brand values.
  • Support PR-related content including press releases speeches and media briefing documents in coordination with internal teams and external agencies.
  • Contribute to the development of content calendars campaign taglines headlines and captions in support of seasonal and digital marketing strategies.
  • Coordinate closely with the Visual Content Executive and Graphic Designer to ensure seamless integration of copy and visuals.
  • Review and proofread all written materials to ensure clarity accuracy grammar and brand consistency.
  • Monitor trends in hospitality travel and lifestyle storytelling to keep content fresh relevant and engaging.
  • Support internal communications and event coverage as needed including scripting for Speech MC or internal video messaging.
  • Assist with translation and localization of content between English and Vietnamese

Qualifications :

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Communications Journalism Marketing Public Relations or a related field.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in content creation editorial writing or brand communications preferably within hospitality Food lifestyle or luxury brands.
  • Exceptional writing editing and proofreading skills in both English and Vietnamese with the ability to tailor tone and style across different platforms and audiences.
  • Proven ability to develop storytelling concepts and written content that drive emotional connection and brand engagement.
  • Experience in writing scripts or storylines for video content (e.g. brand videos social media clips or TVCs) is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms digital marketing channels and content trends.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with visual creatives and design teams to produce cohesive campaigns.
  • Detail-oriented well-organized and capable of managing multiple content streams with accuracy and consistency.
  • Excellent in English and Vietnamese (written and verbal).
