Position: QA/ Test Manager 3
Location: Austin Texas - ONSITE
Duration: Long Term

I. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board requires the services of 1 QA/Test Manager 3 hereafter referred to as Candidate(s) who meets the general qualifications of QA/Test Manager 3 Quality Assurance (QA) and Testing and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
All work products resulting from the project shall be considered works made for hire and are the property of the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Candidates) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by Texas law. Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board will pay no fees for interviews or discussions which occur during the process of selecting a Candidate(s).
The QA/Test Manager Level 3 will support testing in Power BI and WEBFOCUS to support the migration of reporting and data visualization solutions from WEBFOCUS to Power BI. The Tester will be responsible for validating data accuracy ensuring report functionality and optimizing the performance of newly developed Power BI dashboards and reports. This role requires strong analytical skills experience testing BI solutions and a background in higher education data systems.

Experience Analyzing software requirements create comprehensive test plans and develop detailed test cases to cover various functionalities and scenarios.

Experience in BI solution testing including UI/UX validation security testing and performance optimization.

Ability to troubleshoot API integrations web-based data sources and real-time data connections.

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Excellent documentation and communication skills for reporting test results and recommendations.

Experience using Azure DevOps for QA Testing and Test Management.

Familiarity with REST APIs JSON and cloud-based data platforms (Azure AWS or Google Cloud).

Experience working on an agile scrum development team to evaluate user stories and size tasks.

Proficient with the Microsoft O365 products including Microsoft Azure DevOps Teams OneDrive and SharePoint.
