Job Description
Location: Temple TX 76502
Shift: 12-hr Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
- Perform comprehensive clinical assessments and identify patient and family care needs.
- Develop implement and evaluate individualized care plans adjusting as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Foster therapeutic relationships with patients and families through trust empathy and professionalism.
- Educate patients families nurses and community members to empower informed healthcare decisions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and community partners to ensure cohesive patient care.
- Delegate nursing tasks appropriately and monitor task completion.
- Use critical thinking and evidence-based strategies to solve problems and improve patient care.
- Ensure patient safety and efficiency in all care planning and delivery activities.
- Participate in peer development quality improvement efforts and community service initiatives.
- Strong clinical knowledge in nursing standards and patient care protocols.
- In-depth understanding of nursing laws regulations and ethical principles.
- Familiarity with hospital policies procedures and documentation practices.
- Proficient in medical terminology medication effects and care strategies for disease management and prevention.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse individuals and teams.
- Effective critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic computer skills including EMR systems Microsoft Office and scheduling software.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Active and Valid RN license (Texas state).
- BLS Certification (required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
