Job Description

RN Labor & Delivery (Permanent Role)

Location: Brenham TX 77833
Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments and prioritize patient and family needs.
  • Develop implement and continuously evaluate patient-centered care plans.
  • Provide compassionate and professional support to patients and families during the labor and delivery process.
  • Educate patients families and the community on health conditions treatments and preventive care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
  • Delegate tasks appropriately and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Actively participate in problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards hospital policies and professional nursing ethics.
  • Contribute to team development and mentor peers when necessary.
  • Participate in community service and promote health awareness.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Active RN license in the state of Texas.
  • BLS certification required (or must obtain within 30 days of hire).
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience Required.
