How Youll Make an Impact
- Reporting to the Manager Fleet Operations youll take the lead in planning coordinating and overseeing the lifecycle management of AMAs vehicle assets.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive asset management strategy that aligns with AMAs operational objectives.
- Conduct regular assessments of assets to evaluate their condition performance and lifecycle status.
- Analyze asset data and trends to forecast future needs and inform purchasing decisions.
- Prepare and manage budgets for asset acquisition maintenance and disposal ensuring financial efficiency.
- Oversee vehicle procurement replacement strategies and disposal processes ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.
- Implement and maintain an electronic asset management system to track utilization costs and performance.
- Manage vendor relationships negotiate contracts and oversee service agreements to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with business unit leaders to align asset planning with operational requirements and strategic goals.
- Monitor and report on asset performance making recommendations for improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards compliance regulations and maintenance protocols to maximize asset longevity and efficiency.
What You Bring to the Table
- You have at least 3 years of experience in asset or material management preferably in the automotive industry.
- You have a strong understanding of asset management principles including lifecycle management procurement and financial analysis.
- You have a strong proficiency in Excel Microsoft Office and asset management software with experience working in ERP environments.
- You have a solid background in automotive maintenance and fleet operations.
- Youre knowledgeable about safety standards and compliance requirements in a fleet management environment.
- You have strong analytical skills allowing you to assess data identify trends and make informed recommendations.
- Youre an excellent communicator and negotiator capable of building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- You have experience managing budgets and can develop financial reports to support asset management strategies.
