Our Cairns-based team will be with you every step of the way and youll also have a dedicated Recruitment Assistant to help manage your workload so you can focus on building relationships and making great placements.

About the Role

As a 360 Recruitment Consultant youll be responsible for managing temporary and permanent placements in the Blue Collar and Industrial sectors. Youll work from a well-equipped workspace in Townsville leading recruitment in the region with support from your assistant and our wider team.

This role offers the perfect blend of autonomy and support. Youll be the face of Signature Staff in Townsville delivering results with integrity and building long-term client and candidate relationships. Youll manage existing accounts while actively growing your desk and market presence.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle advertising screening placement post-placement support
  • Build and nurture meaningful relationships with clients and candidates
  • Grow your local desk by actively developing new business and networking opportunities
  • Manage existing client accounts and ensure their ongoing satisfaction through regular communication and support
  • Represent Signature Staff in the business community with professionalism and accountability
  • Prepare proposals negotiate rates and maintain clear communication with stakeholders
  • Conduct site visits staff inductions and regular check-ins with clients
  • Maintain compliance and WHS standards using our cloud-based systems
  • Leverage your Recruitment Assistant to streamline administrative processes and candidate onboarding
About You

Youre resourceful organised and thrive in an autonomous role. You take pride in providing exceptional service enjoy using proven systems and know how to manage your time effectively.

Youll be successful in this role if you:

  • Have recruitment experience and a strong B2B sales background within blue collar industries such as mining civil trades or industrial services
  • Communicate with confidence clarity and integrity
  • Are self-driven and highly accountable with a passion for results
  • Work well independently but also value team connection and support
  • Understand how to follow systems juggle multiple priorities and deliver on commitments
  • Have strong admin and tech skills (MS Office CRMs cloud tools)
Bonus Points If You:
  • Track record of successfully managing and growing B2B client accounts
  • Know the regional Townsville market
  • Have qualifications in Recruitment Business Development Sales or Account Management
