Description
We are looking for a senior Liquid Enterprise Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Shopifys Liquid templating language and a proven track record of building customizing and optimizing Shopify themes. You will work closely with our design marketing and development teams to create seamless and engaging e-commerce experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Theme Development & Customization:
- Build and customize Shopify themes using Liquid HTML CSS and JavaScript.
- Implement responsive designs to ensure seamless performance across all devices.
- Integrations & Features:
- Develop and integrate custom features and functionalities based on business requirements.
- Work with Shopify APIs apps and third-party tools to enhance platform capabilities.
- Performance Optimization:
- Ensure website speed SEO and overall performance are optimized.
- Debug and resolve issues related to code or third-party integrations.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with designers to translate mockups into functional user-friendly interfaces.
- Work with the marketing team to implement A/B testing promotional pages and custom landing pages.
- Maintenance:
- Update and maintain the Shopify store to ensure uptime and performance.
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs or errors promptly.
YOU MUST HAVE:
- 5-7 years of experience Shopifys Liquid templating language.
- 3 Years experience in Shopifys ecosystem.
- 3 years of experience in HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript (and frameworks like jQuery or React if needed).
- 3 years of experience in customizing Shopify themes and building custom templates.
WE VALUE:
- Familiarity with Shopify APIs and third-party app integrations.
- Liquid Storefronts for Theme Developers Certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g. Git).
- Basic understanding of SEO principles for e-commerce.
- Consumer and B2B Commerce Experience
- Experience with JSON GraphQL or RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with payment gateway and shipping integrations.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies.
- Detail-oriented approach to quality and performance.
- Knowledge of UI/UX best practices.
