Note: This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at the Purchase NY office.

With significant growth on the horizon they are seeking a hands-on Controller to manage financial operations and ensure smooth cash flow.
Job Description
- Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts receivable accounts payable and general ledger management
- Ensure timely invoicing and collections proactively following up on outstanding payments
- Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile accounts
- Prepare financial reports budgets and forecasts to support business growth
- Manage payroll tax filings and compliance with financial regulations
- Utilize Sage accounting software and Excel for financial tracking and reporting
- Collaborate with leadership to improve financial processes and efficiencies
Qualifications
- 8 years of experience in accounting or financial management
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping collections and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Sage (or similar accounting software) and Excel
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Experience in a small business or startup environment is a plus
