About the Role:

09The Team: S&P Global Market Intelligence (SPGMI) is seeking a Senior Specialist to support the Credit Solutions Market Development team focused on Credit Solutions products. RatingsDirect RatingsXpress and CreditPro are part of the Credit Solutions product suite which deliver credit ratings and research and other credit ratings information to the market.
The Role: The Senior Analyst willsupport the head of pricing for Credit Solutions and senior team members as needed serving the following customer segments: Investment Management Investment Banking Insurance Commercial Banking and Non-Financial successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and enhancing the Credit Solutions pricing function. This requires a comprehensive understanding of our pricing and contracting framework our clients workflows and use cases as well as the ability to find solutions to business problems.
The Impact:
This position will support the growth of the Credit Solutions business. The Senior Analyst will help grow the business through the application of consistent and appropriate pricing as well as drive efficiency in the sales process. Business intelligence projects will identify opportunities for improvement and optimization of value realization as well as surface insights to drive business policy.
Responsibilities:
- Execute internal business workflows and processes
- Support the maintenance troubleshooting and enhancement of organizations systems and applications
- Facilitate pricing analysis and pricing approvals
- Responsible for documenting and ensuring pricing conforms to the organizations objective
What Were Looking For:
This position provides the opportunity to work in a critical function of the Credit Solutions business. You will work across business groups including market development product management commercial and operations. You will have the ability to surface actionable insights through the analysis of data and leverage technology to improve existing processes.
Basic Qualifications/Requirements:
- 3 years experience in the financial services industry
- Bachelors degree required (preference for background in finance business economics or related subject)
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM databases (preferred1-2 years relevant experience)
- Working knowledge of finance financial markets and our company
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Detailed oriented and possesses strong critical thinking skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint and ability to synthesize information for presentation to senior management.
